Call For Papers

ICoICT 2020 intends to be the premier forum for academicians, industrials, professionals, and students to exchange knowledge and sharing research finding in a broad scope of coverage of information communication technology (ICT).

This year’s theme is “Leveraging ICT for Disaster Resilience and Sustainable Development”, will highlight the intensive use of ICT to enhance the disaster resilience and sustainable development. Information and communication  technologies  (ICTs) are used in  many  areas  to facilitate  and  accelerate  our  lives  as  a  part  of  sustainable development. The use of ICTs  by citizens after a disaster increases resilience against disasters.

We welcome high-quality papers that describe original and unpublished research papers addressing the real issues, methods, and challenges on the following areas of ICT for Disaster Resilience and Sustainable Development, but not limited to:

Emerging Trends in ICT (Information and Communication Technology)

Structural Health and Monitoring (SHM)

The scope (but are not limited to):
• Internet of Things for SHM
• System Engineering for SHM (engineering, architecture, evaluation, sensor technology),
• Decision Systems for SHM (Artificial Intelligence, Intelligent Agents, Machine Learning),
• Data fusion and Analytic for structural health monitoring
• Simulation and computing for SHM (finite element analysis, continuous, discrete, real-time)
• Signal and data Processing for SHM

Climate Change Monitoring

The scope (but are not limited to):
• IoT for climate change monitoring
• Analysis, simulation, and modeling for climate change monitoring
• Early warning systems and environmental assessment
• Intelligent system for climate change monitoring and weather forecasting

ICT for Agriculture Resilience

The scope (but are not limited to):
• IoT and sensor networks for agriculture and forestry
• Image processing and AI for agriculture and forestry
• Data science for agriculture and forestry
• Remote sensing and GIS for agriculture and forestry
• Any ICT applications for agriculture and forestry

Disaster Mitigation and Management

The scope (but are not limited to):
• Signal and Image processing for disaster mitigation and management
• Early warning system for disaster mitigation and management
• GPS and INS for disaster mitigation and management
• GIS and remote sensing application for disaster management
• Data science for disaster management

Disaster Risk Science and Engineering

The scope (but are not limited to):
• Multi-hazard modelling and simulations
• Risk and vulnerability assessment
• Numerical modelling and simulations
• Data science for resilient built environments
• Remote sensing and spatial analysis for disaster risk science and engineering

Trending Technologies in Natural Disaster Risk Reduction

The scope (but are not limited to):
• IoT and sensor networks for disaster risk reduction
• Remote sensing and spatial analysis for disaster risk reduction
• Big data and mobile application for early warning system
• Unmanned autonomous vehicle (UAV) applications for disaster risk reduction

 

Non-presented Paper Policy

The committee reserves the right to exclude a paper from distribution after the conference if the paper is not presented at the conference.
